Addicting
It's an extremely addicting game though it's so simple. A big plus for a dynamic action game without violence. The strange fact is that a game which seems monotonous at the first glance can take away a large fragment of one's free time. There's just something going on on the screen constantly, so the player must be still focused on the gameplay. Another good point are loads of achievements (though they're not very special and can be associated with grind - get fifty something, etc...).
I'm aware of the fact that the game was being made within three weeks. I'm really impressed that such a beautiful thing could be made so fast. However, certain elements could be improved if more time was given. I'd personally love to see the fairy change her appearance (and perhaps, getting permanent power-ups) with every gained level. I think, it would give the player a feeling of increasing in power. It would also make a good visualisation of the player's progress. Especially when the graphic is so original, delicate and simply beautiful.
Still, another problem is a slight thing that made the gameplay frustrating at times (well, I'm not really sure whether it's a bug or not or whether it's caused by Newgrounds more than by the game itself...). Namely, did only I have an impression that when the camera gets further from Flur, everything around begins to move faster? Anyway, this thing often made it impossible to catch such objects as Typhoon. I was just chasing it with maximum speed and it was seeming to move faster or faster (or the fairy was just getting slower). Well, it's not a very nice feeling when you realise, you can't move faster since the cursor is already beyond the flash area and the pretty star is flying away...
Anyway, despite these slight problems, it's still one of the best games, I've played recently (plus, I appreciate the fact, not much time was given to create it). The best proof of this that Flur stole one and half hour of my life - and I forgive her with all my heart :)
